Today is definietly colder than yesterday but I was correst in my prediction for today and I'm going to stick with it being cold like this for the rest of the weekend but with slightly increasing winds each day. This high pressure system looks like it'll be sticking around for a few days but then I'm anticipating it warming up. Below is the stock map I've been presenting to you each day. Notice the fairly stable temperatures in the region with ever so slightly higher temps in Minnesota.

Not only are temps low across the area but winds are also under 10mph at every station reporting on the map. I'm including two wind maps below of the U. S. the first one showing surface wind direction and the second showing where the jet-stream lies in the atmosphere and how it's pushing the high pressure front from West to East.
