Well, my prediction for today is off. I blame myself for not looking at the surface wind measurements. The surface winds are still coming from Canada and once in Wisconsin are blowing to the East. I walked outside for 10 seconds and my nose began to hurt so bad that I was forced to wear my face mask. Even though the air pressure is the same as yesterday the humidity has dropped and so too has the dew point causing the air to feel much drier.
The surface map above shows the low wind and low temps across the region. I expect temps to stay low like this as long as the wind is coming from either the West or North. We can only hope that the southern jet stream drives north bringing with it warmer temps pushing out the coldness of winter.
