Earth Wind Map

The Earth wind map is a site which allows you to view the wind direction and speed all over the world. With the option to change the altitude of the wind being shown you can start to understand the patterns of the wind and how the different levels affect each other. The site also includes a view of ocean currents if you're in to oceanography.

Weather.gov

Weather.gov is a government weather site run by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This site contains very well regulated data from sensors all over the United States. Forecasts models are available to a user as well as GIS shapefiles and KML files so that you can project the data onto a map and work with it on your own.

Weather Underground

Weather Underground (Wunderground) is a very informative website with various maps that allow you to select which layers you want to see. There are tabs on the top of the page linking users to pertinent information regarding the weather.

Accuweather

When I look at the weather on my phone I notice that it's presented by Accuweather so they must be doing something right. Their site is filled with videos of local and national forecasts from real people. The site is very clean compared to Wunderground and they even have a nifty html code you can use to embed updated weather onto your blog or other webpage (such as what I have done).
